LONDON FASHION WEEK 2012

With a play on masculine tailoring and 'modern femininity' Simone Rocha's second catwalk show at London Fashion Week was rewarded with the biggest applause of fashion week so far. With her father and fellow designer, John Rocha, sitting proudly in the front row, Simone presented a collection which concentrated on silhouette and texture.
Oversized bomber jackets in fine lace, and glistening pony skin were teamed with organza shift skirts and winter dresses. The almost entily monochrome collection progressed from '1930's Dubin' to Papua New Guineau with the introduction of white wool fringing and structured peplums. Although perhaps not the most wearable of collections, Simone Rocha's beautifully crafted pieces are most definitely wardrobe worthy. - Sophie Warburton, fashion assistant, Daily Telegraph.
